The Dewalt d25133k 110V SDS+ Hammer Drill is part of DeWalt’s 2 kg SDS hammer array. At just 2.6kg, it is also lightweight and has a low vibration. Dewalt has improved the sealing process to stop the entry of dust from penetrating the internal operations that will greatly prolong the life of the tool.
Within the rotary hammers, there are two pistons-a driving piston and a moving piston. An electric motor turns a crank into a cylinder, which drives back and forth the drive piston. The flying piston lies at the other end of the same cylinder. The pistons do not directly touch but the air pressure in the EP cylinder allows a much more effective transfer of hammering energy in the cam-action style hammer drills.
The rotary hammer uses SDS bit retention for fast bit change and secures hold during hammering. When punching through hard materials, the ergonomic D-handle gives lots of grips and extra strength.
