Replacing the Chuck:

Remove the retaining ring:

To pry the retaining ring away from the driver, use a pick and a small screwdriver. Stay on one hand, and pry up the rest of the ring once it is free from the anvil.

Disable assembly chuck:

The flat washer, spring, and chuck collar can be separated from the driver with the retaining ring out of the way. There are two ball bearings in the anvil so that you can press the driver to release them on your work surface.

If you’ve fallen off a little in the anvil, you can either tap it out or use your pick to move it out of the anvil.

Mount the assembled chuck:

Place the bearings back into place, chuck neck, spring, and flat washer.

Place in the holding ring:

Use one end of the anvil-secured retaining triangle. Then use a small screwdriver to help you slip around the anvil the retaining ring so it secures the chuck assembly.
