BOSCH GHO 26-82 D PROFESSIONAL 710W PLANER
In designing the GHO 26-82 D professional planer, Bosch has aimed to make planning easy. It offers an ideal power to weight and size ratio so that users have the high performance they need but without making the planer too large and heavy to handle easily. A powerful 710 W motor generates fast work rates, allowing the planer to cut rapidly to a maximum depth of 2.6 mm. Much of this corded tool’s stability and accuracy is related to the improved design of the front shoe and its adjustment system.
Cutting depth can be increased in 0.1 mm steps and the Bosch wood razor system, with its one-blade drum, gives high-quality results with no need to align a second blade. Other aids include a centred groove for chamfering, a spring-loaded park shoe to protect the work surface, a choice of left-sided or right-sided chip ejection, a lock-off switch to prevent unintentional starting, and an ergonomic, comfortable, soft-grip handle.
Note: Switch on the motor and keep it in running mode until maximum speed is attained. Once you achieve the full speed, move the planer steadily until it comes into contact with the wood and slowly push it forward.
