The Dewalt DWE6411L 1/4 “Palm Sander is fitted with a 230 Watt motor providing 14,000 OPM. The separate counterweight eliminates friction and provides easy sanding along with the rubber over-mold grip.
The shorter design helps users to get closer to the work surface, and the single-handed lock dust bag attaches securely to the dust collection sander, or the user may attach the sander directly to the AirLock compatible dust collector. The new paper clamp holds sandpaper in a safe place during sanding.
Palm sander or the sheet sander is for finishing work, and it is what you use just before you apply some varnish or paint the wood surface. These sanders are less powerful than the random orbit and their primary purpose is to give the surface a smooth and clean touch
